ZEEV: Liquidity driven markets are lots of fun, but they always end badly. The last big liquidity driven market was back in 1987 and we all remember how that ended.

Still looks like a grand finale this month with Dow approaching 9000 before turning south in a big way. Ensuing bottom could be 7000 or even lower.

<Hi Dug, it seems that liquidity is more powerful than economic conditions, and liquidity is winning this round.>

FWIW, I just went cash last week w/ one long term hold & am looking forward to Monday's response as it will be another gauge.

<I am afraid however that the higher we get, the worse will be the ensuing decline.>

Hoping your right on this one. Seven hundred & fifty points in one day might be the last downside for sometime to come. Give or take a day or two. <G>

<Long term, I agree with you, the secular bull might still be intact.>

Im guessing 2005 w/ a min. rate of inflation. However, the downside will be awful!!!

Best of the week to you Zeev & everyone on the AMATM thread.

Dug

Zeev,

Had a good Feb. going long.

Looking for a good contrarian indicator for March.

What is you view of March?

Thanks in advance!
