Tim:
OFF TOPIC: Thanks for saving me time and effort, I was going to send to Ameritrade request for information but the posts have answered my questions. I use Schwab for some trades, I have been all over SI and seems everyone has some technical problem with these $8.00 brokers at one time or another. My feel is, if the stock goes up 70% why worry about commission, just get in and out. If it goes down 70%, all I saved was 21.95. I have also found with my full service broker that I can get schwab price if I ask for it BEFORE trade is executed. Still goes back to "you get what you pay for". Have a good week.

Tim...I found this link on another thread today when I was researching which online brokers are best for trading penny or bulletin board stocks. It's a review of a number of online brokerages and gives a lot of details for each, such as commissions, 800 numbers, websites, whether or not you can trade BB's through them, comments from customers, etc. I haven't had time to study it yet, but it looks like a good place to figure out who to trade through and who not to.

I have accounts at Ameritrade and NDB. To be honest, I've had better success with NDB, which allows many BB stocks to be bought on-line. They will also let you do multiple buys or sells of the same security for one fixed price for the day.

For listed stocks, I believe Scottsdale has the best service and $9/12 market/limit orders. I opened NDB only because Scottsdale is not competitive for BB stocks.
