GD, I still live in the Galleria area, but I am now on the other side of the tracks and the freeway. This part of town is a definite downgrade right now, but it is rapidly gentrifying. Where I lived before was already pretty gentriated. -g- But the actual highrise I live in is very nice and we have lots of fences to keep out the riff-raff. So, I have upgraded my personal living space and downgraded my local surroundings.

I think it should be a good time to buy GTW puts, except for the fact that nobody punishes this stock much when they fall on their face. O.K., it's down from $60, but, still, on a valuation basis, folks seem to think it is growing when it is really imploding. A couple of accounting tricks and they made everyone forget all the writeoffs. So, on a fundamental basis, this company is in deep kimshee. But I have been amazed at the market's ability to overlook losses at MU and GTW when setting their stock prices. Sometimes the gullibility of the crowd amazes me. MB

gd, gtw may have a good q ahead of them. here's the trick i used to avoid puts during the last run up. apple reported first and MADE MONEY. if apple makes money then gtw ought to make money too.

watch apple very closely. also, the component prices are dropping FAST! this enables all boxmakers to eak out a profit (even muei if they weren't buy $6 dram and 2 times the normal amount of flat panel displays from mu ;-)

when we see deceleration in this area is when gtw gets killed D-E-A-D.
