Ring a bell? --"5. TXT was at 59 1/4 when you posted on the TXT board #8 on Oct 27, and is now 74 9/16 , which is an increase of 25 (%, when you claimed just yesterday that it was a 30% increase. More lies based on your own words, backed up by the public record and tied in a neat, little shiny bow." --
These are your words, which as I have proven, is just one example that your posts are plainly misleading and wrong. Because, the post you referred to above about 30% increase, was in fact referring to post #10, and the closing price of TXT that day, of 56 1/4, and made the same day which you purposely left out, or carelessly overlooked. TXT closed that day at 56 1/4 didn't it! I was not lying as you claimed, thus you are in fact the liar, or I' ll give you the benefit the of doubt, just plain ignorant. Here's the post, which BTW turned out to be bang on regarding TXT:

Well, well. We just doubled the yield on the dividend the past few trading sessions! It was about 1%, now its 1.8% at these prices.-g-
Textron has pretty much been in line with the market. Today, the DOW sits at about May, 1997 levels, as does TXT.(5 months ago) But TXT pays a dividend!-g-
Even if it takes 5 months to return to the previous trading range, of 62-70,(+11%-+25%) TXT still remains a good risk/reward stock.
With current price, of 56, TXT is trading at about a 13-14 PE of projected earnings. Not bad considering you get a dividend on top.
Regarding Technical analysis, there are literally hundreds of books you can find at the bookstore or library which is a good way to start IMO.
There is also a good software program called MetaStock, which offers extremely powerful and complicated tools for the advanced TA, and powerful, yet simple tools for somebody who only needs the "basics".
Its expensive, but worth it IMO. It also includes a pretty good tutorial, and "quick start on TA." You can also find cheaper ones, but I have been using MS for over 11 years now, and nothing else.
Keep in mind TA, although based with mathematical formulas, is more an art than many think. The key is to exhaust several technical indicators with various varibles, to find a pattern of triggers for a particualr security which provides a "better chance" of securing profits.
Good Trading, LF
So, you can see, I proved you are totally a careless and quite malicious individual, who cannot distinguish truth or reality, or proper context from your naive and contorted self defined reality.
You lost money on SIII. Get over it, and move on. BTW, I made most of the SIII losses back from TRADING NSCP. Its obvious you don't know the difference between trading and investing, but if you care for me to explain it to you let me know. I'll be glad to offer you my advice. Just ask. Otherwise the IGNORE button will have to be rule with you. Just think, if you sold SIII when I did, and bought TXT, you too may have made that SIII loss back.
Good Stewing and/or good luck, I hope you get those losses back in a timely fashion. I really do. LF
BTW, please don't make fun of another person's career just because it doesn't measure up to your standards. I'll bet that organ grinder and monkey enjoy bringing smiles to the faces of children, and music to the streets. |
