Joe - I don't expect to hear back from them, I'm sure Mason and his group have had their hands full lately talking to the funds that own this stock and explaining away CPQ's performance in regard to Dell, the Dow, the eclipse, whatever. I, (at best) would expect a reply from an 'investor relations' mouthpiece with a canned statement. Did not know you were involved with Novell, I have to say that's a tough company to be in, they are going up against Microsoft, and going the way of Netscape, in my opinion. But then again, I thought CPQ was the 'class' of the PC field back in the fall, been proven wrong big time in the short run....

John

PS - Did you see the post by ACEINVESTOR? Interesting, looks like an admission of 'production problems'. Maybe Smith Barney was onto something, just the wrong thing!! I'm sure the street will put more negative spin on it. Hey, I'd bet the WSJ is already mulling over a piece for the 'Heard on the Street' column, titled 'Storm clouds gather over Houston while the sun shines brightly in Austin'!!!!
