I'm guessing that there might be a legal delay in announcing LGND's decision re: drug or money. Even though Lgnd was given 2 choices, the final decision might have to be legally set in stone (if it hasn't been done so already) and that this might take some time before ligand can "officially" release a pr. But from your terse response, I get the feeling your lgnd source is "leaking" something to you. How bout it Henry? Can you indulge us? Or would the SEC be all over you like Monica on Bill. :-) I would also guess that lgnd's share price will not be affected by their official decision since it is already known that they were given this perk. With respects to lgnd, I just saw "Jerry Maguire" for the first time, on DVD I might add. I think it is appropriate to say that lgnd needs to "Show me the FDA approval, baby!"
