Good morning,
Does anybody know if IFMX were to present at any of these?

3/4/98 Goldman Sachs Conference
3/12/98 JP Morgan Conference
3/24/98 Merrill Lynch Conference

Thanks.

Dave,

not sure the number of Extended Parallel Option clients. Some datawahousing clients use straight Dynamic Server, and XPO has been targetted more at loosely coupled/MPP systems- so I wouldn't think there were hundreds.

The product set targetted for data warehousing clients is Dynamic Server + Advanced Decision Support Option. XPO is an optional for MPP and loosely coupled environments.

Matt.

XPS (or now known as the extended Parallel Option) only works on clusters and MPP systems in Data Warehousing environments. So there aren't hundreds out here. However, the several dozen or so that IFMX has are very large. At one time in the beginning of 1997 Phil White was touting XPS as the future base product for the company. That obviously has changed. The sales force has gotten many mixed messages over the past few years regarding XPS and whether they should sell it or not and under what circumstances. But as the benchmarks show, the product really screams in the environment it was built for.
