To all,

Looks like Second opinion has upgraded Borland again--this time to a buy from neutral. I don't really know what they base their gradings on, but it's better than the opposite direction.

P.S. I would have expected a press release today on the merger. Any thoughts?

Story in current issue of ComputerWorld (stresses the gains in financial strength [the essential part of the circle of growth!!] and business as opposed to technical professionals being in charge and importance of VSGN incorporation):

www2.computerworld.com
Boucher said many developers remained loyal to Borland because they like the company's tools. But to capture share in
the corporate market, which is Borland's long-term plan, the company must present a healthy financial showing to win the
confidence of large users, she said.

Also saw that ValueLine has BORL as a 2.
And S&P Outlook had them in one of their stock screens - companies with increasing margins (I think).
Think also S&P upped the stars rating on BORL a couple of weeks ago.

(Not that S&Ps or ValueLine's ratings changes do anything to move the price of the stock.)
