Is this possible?...NSM and RMTR...

What do you guys think about this.

1) National Semiconductor, under Brian Halla, has tried to align
itself as a system on a chip company and has largely divested itself of other operations while making key acquisitions such as Cyrix, to move forward in the system-on-a-chip arena.

2) NSM may have initial patents on FRAM, but they have not actively
developed FRAM and I would argue that they will never do so. They are holding onto these patents as intellectual property just in case FRAM
is successful.

3) As others have suggested here, the patent case may be irrelevant
due to foreign patents/ process patents, etc. and the lengthy nature of the appeal process. i.e NSM could potentially wind up empty-handed when all is said and done.

4) If NSM is willing to pay/fight for patent rights to FRAM, they must see some future for FRAM

5) So....could NSM be approached to privately place the Benton shares? What better way for NSM to ensure that it gets a piece of this pie?

Just a random thought I had.

Tom C.
