ZIP as floppy REPLACEMENT in Aptiva?

In a story 'PC manufactures kiss 1.44''floppies goodbye', the German online edition of Ziff-Davis reported yesterday that the ZIP would REPLACE, not just complement the 1.44 floppy drive in the new Japanese IBM Aptiva, announced this week; the article makes reference to Micron's decision earlier to use ZIP as a: drive (but to still include a 1.44).

To my knowledge that would go beyond the press release issued.

Probably wrong, but otherwise would be great news.

Anyone able to verify?
