Derek, I have to be straight with you. It appears you jumped to an incorrect conclusion on the job openings at 3Com...as they relate to the job market in general.

I just went to a few company sites checking out the job openings available...it appears to be the same exact situation.

We hear it all of the time out here...about how the technology companies have major trouble finding skilled people to fill the job openings, and how that has caused the average price of homes to be around $360,000. There are huge signs & billboards advertising for help, all web sites have job opening sections, if you email a company from another company you may just get a return email with a job offer...with higher pay.

Derek if you are in fact, a skilled tech person looking for work in California...turn the situation around. It's not as much as what they have to offer you...it's what you have for them.

You might want to call Jerry McGuire! <GG>

Good Luck, it's not what it appears.
