Right now Cable modems are the testing rage and is implemented in places. But I worry about security. The security issue will always be with us. Some people always wants to 'break in'. Some people get off building betters locks. As users, we are caught in the middle. I don't think absolute security can be had on the net. Fairly close is good enough for me. It's like with PC viruses. You just have to learn what you should and shouldn't do. PS.. I have a saying, the faster I go the faster I want to go. The need for speed... I think it is with speed like it is with RAM - you cannot get enough. Someone will always take advantage of more.
