Downgrades - February 27
(last updated 4:39pm Eastern U.S. time)

Important Disclaimer Information

Downgrades

Company Symbol Brokerage Downgrade from: Downgrade to:
Apogee Enterprises APOG Dain Rauscher Buy Neutral
Applied Materials AMAT Josephthal Lyon Buy Hold
Banco Wiese BWP JP Morgan Buy Mkt Perform
Beneficial Corp BNL PaineWebber Buy Neutral
Credicorp Ltd BAP JP Morgan Buy Mkt Perform
Dresser Indus DI PaineWebber Buy Attractive
...................

I remember, correct me if I am wrong, that the same analyst upgraded AMAT from Held to Attractive, then to Mkt Perform, and then to Buy just a couple of months ago. Now suddenly go down three grade to Held. Does he know something we did not know?

Is anyone expecting more downgrades to show up on Monday morning?

Held or out? Any comments are appreciated.

Re... "If you can't see it, you're blind." I can only ask what u put on your cornflakes... the management has been in denial, and it is not the first time... and if the management had judged the slowdown right they would have announced the holy-dayz on the cc... and further more, even as a blind man, I can see a pre-announcement coming soon... but what I really want to say is this... stick and stones may hurt my bones but calling me names won't hurt me... because it's happened before, and I came out ok every time.

the lesson is EVEN A BLIND MAN CAN TELL WHEN HE'S WALKING IN THE SUN
