<<What types of things do you think he can do to help us shareholders?
Share buyback?, pre-announcing a great 1st qtr?, clearly explaining
the current inventory situation? What else?>>

Giving all senior management a course (taught by outside consultant) in how to deal with analysts and the street - and how to recognize potential "red flags" so they properly defuse them.

What gets me is MRVC IS making the right moves in running the company, building inventories to shorten deliveries to customers wins more sales. When a customer determines they need to upgrade to a faster switch, it's usually because of a problem in their network. What do you think they will do when MRVC says "3-6 weeks" for delivery? Probably go elsewhere, if their need is great. MRVC NEEDS to do this - what they didn't do is understand that the street might think it is a "problem" and handle it properly. All they had to say in Q3 was that they were going to increase inventories for the following reasons, and to EXPECT to see it in Q4.
