If you are into the drillers or fabs or service companies, you may want to check out the Strictly Drilling and Oil-field Services thread (if you don't already).

Subject 12099

It's one of the best information threads I've seen on SI. I'm also long FGII, as well as several others in the sector. FGII got ahead of itself running from the low-20's to mid-30's, but it seems to have consolidated.

I almost bought when the oils sold off the first time, it got as low as 20 or so I believe, too bad I didn't do it. Other oils I have bought and sold in the last three months are, EVI & NE. , currently own SFR. SFR dipped to under 9 briefly, picked it up just over 9. I still own it in my IRA.

Other favorite stocks I like for long term holds are CYMI, CUBE, LGWX, &( LWN which is also in my IRA, a recession proof business for sure, it's a dead business, but unbelievably consistent.)

Yes this the APM thread, but it's in hiding for now. I just can't get excited about APM right now. My biggest worry is that some new technology will doom them to non-existence.

I was one of the fortunate ones, I made about two points for about the 20 trades I made, which includes the commissions. At one time I was 20 points ahead, just got too greedy & also had my head in the sand. We all keep learning, don't we?

See ya!
