Stewart, look forward to your response re: UNPH and vertical cavity lasers. TLAB is pricey but I can't pull the trigger--you will probably have the last laugh but I think we haven't heard the last from the IBM AON boys that TLAB got their hands on. Several more years for bottom line results though, admittedly.
As for LU--check out recent announcements between DPMI and University of Texas re: .08 micron using conventional DUV etching technique. Considered a real "wow" in a blizzard of techy head fakes. LU is involved and this has been behind it's recent move according to some folks over on the APAT and DPMI threads.
Me being the resident tech expert on the QCOM thread is the equivalent of putting Bill Clinton in charge of the nunnery. I can talk the tech talk but can't walk it by a long shot. Of course those guys know that I don't know a photon from a door stop so no harm is done. <g> Regards, Mike Doyle
