Barb,
Wrong on the Ax thing, and obviously position trading works for you as well. Barb I am a Market Maker. I see you and other people like yourself as the future of NASDAQ security trading. To answer to Burber I have a compliance reason why I can't disclose who I am. You guys don't have the license problem that I do, I represent a firm. And what pissed me about the Cyber deal is the same thing that pisses me about all the SOES houses. They are ruining good long term business at the alter of quick commission bucks today. As a MM I am not bothered, afraid, irritated or anything else by the ECN trader. The MM were irritated by the SOES guy for about six months and then learned to deal with it. I make as much money from badly entered SOES orders as I do from anything. Any MM loves order flow. If an active DayTrader directs order flow to me, like any MM he is my buddy. To have inexperienced people getting slaughtered by these trade greedy idiots with a pretty software package drives me nuts. You guys have a mental image of Market Makers and what is good for all of us long term, that is wrong and fueled by people that don't understand 90 percent of what this business is. Don't take advice from people in your pocket. If you look back, I haven't tried to sell anything. Just trade and trade profitably, that's my agenda. MM
