Loki,
I like your ideas very much... following up from what is happening elsewhere with celebrities and sports figures, one could also start a biz that involves buying and selling brokers and analysts as a way of tracking their performances on issues!

Loki, you have a great idea!! A "Consumer's Digest" for investors which would rate ANALysts, brokerage firms, and the "Smith Barney" and "Merrill Lynch" firms out there, since those are the abodes of the ANALysts. It could also include the darlings of CNBC that deluge us with "financial reporting" day after day. All of these entities need to be tracked and rated. That is certainly a beautiful way to make them accountable. If their credibility is important to them, then they will be much more careful to think before they open their mouth. It would certainly also guide investors in selecting the best brokerage firms to deal with. I would certainly be a charter subscriber!! Of course this service would have to be independent of any of these entities. NO ADVERTISEMENTS ACCEPTED.
