The put call ratio indicates that looking forward the market is bullish, with the exception of MSFT, DELL and AOL

biz.yahoo.com

Another indicator as to the direction of AOL is whether there are shares available for shorting. Should there is a lot of supply, this means that AOL will go higher. Conversely if there is no AOL shares available for shorting, the stock will head south. The reason is that funds holding AOL are shorting against the box causing shortage of stocks to be borrowed. This is the stage where funds are locking profits.

CALL TO ARMS: On Monday I am calling for volunteers to check with your broker if there AOL shares available for shorting. Let us just ask him/her: do you have 1000 shares of AOL to short? Please report back. Thank you.
