Jim, Dell normally runs before and after a split.

There should be expected a pullback at some time either before or after. This activity will be day traders and profit taking. The profit taking will create opportunities for someone waiting for a chance to jump in.

Timing and determining the magnitude of the pullback is almost impossible. It will happen most of the time after a split/earnings report. However, there have been situations where the pullback never took place.

The NASDAQ and DOW activity will usually set the timing of a pullback for DELL. Tell me what the DOW/NASDAQ will do and I'll tell you when the pullback will occur.

Pat
