Riechers: Thanks for the response. I understand your point. However, if I were to manipulate CPQ while protecting the capital used for manipulation, it seems I would establish positions with calls or puts. Even with $5mil, I could short 32.5 March PUTS and probably end up with a better return than if I purchase the stock at 32 in the same time frame. Recognizing that I limit my upside potential for 3 weeks, at least I have a guaranteed return with essentially the same downside risk as if I owned the stock. In my opinion, the fund managers are trying to achieve a predetermined return on their overall investment in order to secure their monthly and yearly bonus payments. Isn't this the primary motivater for manipulation of the stock? JMHO
