Hello Scott:

First of all there is no such thing as a sure double.

Second: News should be out soon regarding Taylor Rig. I will not speculate as to what it says. You may want to call Roger Fullerton, Westrend IR and try to get a grounded idea as to where Westrend is going. I obviously want the best for WRN, I am a shareholder currently. I do not want to see the WRN get ahead of itself pre-maturely and then have pro-traders and profit takers bring down its stock price. This would cause WRN to trade behind itself, and thus "piss off" very large potential shareholders that could be/are watching very closely. Just my opinion.

Have a good day

Scott, Was that you who e-mailed me? Hey, what's the deal with Vic Vreeland? I ran into him on the Andrea thread. Anyone got a brick? I went to San Antonio last week on family business and drove right past Westrend on San Pedro without even realizing it, until it was too late. It was a sunday anyway, so I'm sure they were closed. OK, you can hit me with the brick now!

Vic, although I would undoubtedly like to see WRN double this week (or anytime for that matter) I know of nothing on the "this week" horizon, that is likely to cause that. The company is not going to be pushing for any kind of unsustainable price swings either. Unless we have a major group, which I am unaware of, coming in for the long term (always possible) or we are going to see a news release of serious significance (which I do not believe is on this weeks table) I highly doubt we will se a double this week.

Can you elaborate where you heard the rumor??

Salut,
Leigh McBain

PS - the last thing WRN needs is another short lived fly and die run, like the one to $2.25.
