>>>I don't know about you but I am very happy to see the Company
taking a more proactive approach to subscriber marketing.

I am very happy too, that is the first banner add I've seen. It seems that banner is positioned towards banks...and getting them set up with Checkfree online services. After that is done...it's up to the branded bank to get their customers to their site using the service.

>>>Maybe a banner on QUICKEN, EXCITE, and YAHOO in the right places wouldn't hurt. Anyway good to see the marketing push.

That would be the tricky one...bypassing the Financial Institution Customers of Checkfree in an effort to go direct...might backfire. Would backfire from what we have been told by Kurt & Roger.

However if the Banner was simply 'looking for online banking?', snazy graphics.

Push the banner.....user comes into a non-checkfree-branded site, listing all the supported banks with their links to get setup. I think that type of marketing by directing users to a service wouldn't be out of bounds....and might even be appreciated by the banks looking to reduce costs of marketing their new services. Add a can't find your bank button? Who is it? Give us your Email, we'll contact you when they are up.
