DJBEIBO - The Class action suit also includes:

"...and All Others Similarly Situated..." for which I am one.

There are many other shareholders accounting for several million shares just from this thread alone that raised these issues to the BOD(in writing...see the white paper) last year.

Also, it was brought to the attention of Calpers and many other 5% share holders who now will perhaps review their holdings as a direct result of this event.

I do not expect anything financial from this suit but hope it eventually results in Novell cleaning out the rotten apples at the BOD level. Only until this occurs (IMO) can Novell complete their restructuring program.

Dodn't you care if your management is telling you the complete story about how your company is doing? I can not think of any sustained corporate turnaround where the management lies to it's shareholders.

This is just another problem the company Novell must deal with. Eventually it will be resolved with an infusion of new Directors and trusting management. Then perhaps the business at hand can be completed. However, this will take more time!

I wonder what the largest shareholder is thinking....Noorada? Maybe he should come back and relieve Young as COB.

DJ: With all due respect. And for "you" I really mean that. I know what and how you feel, and how you've gone about the "positives" here on this BBS. But, there's one thing I'd like to add that Eric Strohmeyer said to you in response to this post. And it is "exactly" how I feel:

That is "exactly" the results I hope and pray that result from this lawsuit. I don't care one iota if I get one penny!

As far as Fred Smart pontificating about Novell, then from who he describes he is, and what company he runs, and how involved he is with big time folk on the Novell circuit, than I suggest he does as I did,
and get his diatribe into the major media, as I did, and do everything in his power to spin Novell back into prominance. Rather than just write tomes of wisdom here on SI, Yahoo, Motlely Fool, AOL, and the rest of the public BBS's.

Once I see his name in the major rags, including the "financial" ones, and once I see his "positive" presence noted at the annual meeting next month, and once I see him acknowledged by the officers at Novell,
then I might begin to take him seriously. But, as I said in my last to him, at this point, all I get is "bored".

Good Luck DJ. You're a "true plugger". And I mean it.

Regards,

Joe...
