UTI and NOVL

Nope, you read it right - UTI rported Wednesday, and it gapped open Thursday - from the looks of it, it may be good for a run to $20.

NOVL will probably cost me a lot of money on Monday if the lawsuit is received poorly. I won't have any indication on it until late Sunday or pre-open Monday. However, just about every stock has one disgruntled stockholder lawsuit - and they unfailingly file just after I take a large position. Right now I don't know. The rest of the analysis looked good until I saw that news. I don't know what to expect. There has been a lot of volume, and people can go out or they can ignore it. My guess is it will correct down slightly and then at least level. The other side of the volume is that there was enough accumulation to perhaps force a continuation of its climb. Will look closer to open on Monday.

UTI thresholds:

UTI will be on tonight's watch list, but I would like to point out that it has been bouncing some in its current range. The thresholds it needs to clear are wonderfully simple - $14, $15, $16, $19, and $20.The first two are minor reversal points, the second two are interim ceilings, and the last is the recovery point from the down gap several months ago. Basically, if UTI clears one threshold, and doesn't penetrate the next within 2-4 days, then you would sell on the intraday reversal, but not the leveling.
