<The kind of manipulation in stock I have alluded to in most of my posts is the kind where "anal-ysts" spout an epitaph at an opportune time, say an upgrade when the stock is already flying or a downgrade >

peacelover: Thanks for your response and your earlier post. Excellent point concerning "anal-ysts" and their manipulative attempts to sway the public. Anyone who intentionally misleads the investment community in a public forum is a liar. Pure and simple. If he worked for me, he'd be fired. However, I think it's about time the investing public take time to understand what their getting into. Too many baby boomers are finding themselves with unusual amount of cash representing their livelihood for the retirement. They should have enough sense to understand the consequence of their investment decisions.

Fortunately, it's not against the law to state an opinion. However, I doubt that I'll regard SSB investment advise as respected analysis, nor will I vote them with my dollars. However, I might eat these words if 3 months from now CPQ is less than $25, which I sincerely doubt.
