It may be too early to fairly judge their music business.

I just checked their home page and I see no mention about music CD's. Certainly the search engine implies books, as the creators are referred to as authors, not artists. The music prices may drop as they achieve economies of scale with music.

I wonder if we have enough information to discern and judge the optimal strategy for selling obscure books.

Best Regards,
Tom D

For technical books I shop at bookpool.com and believe at least 5% cheaper than Amazon. Reading the thread I am surprised to see about 7-8 internet booksellers so far.
Amazon is the pioneer just like Iomega in winning big in removable hard drives in '96. IOM had nearly no competition but fell hard, the fate of this stock will be worse, IMO.
