robert and ptsc thread i have been reading this thread for about two weeks and it was the main reason for joining SI i apologize for posting the RUMOR (clearly stated by me) that troubles u and others... however, i would have liked some education re:what is appropriate or not rather that the kick in the gut from urlman when i thought i was only providing more information that was requested.. please understand i initially asked if anyone had heard that rumor and if i had been told not to continue in this vein i would have stopped.. i can only hope patriot is more successful demonstrating their attributes than i have been on this thread beachcomber

Bob, I agree. If this is true then something is really wacky here. You should note, though, that it was not claimed that Patriot would get revenues of $500 for each board, just that the total cost to MGM was $500. There are no doubt (?) other partners. This story has more of a ring of truth than others that have come down the pike. Think about it. If you wanted to hype and dump, would you chose MGM for your contract???? Joe

All, I can see where the MGM & Patriot confusion can be explained very easily. You see, MGM is short for Mighty Government Machine that will use Patriot missles (Heavily discounted) in the struggle against evil Saddam. ;-> in honor of Urlman: geocities.com I think he(beachcomer)could be confusing another company that is called Patriot that I saw a while back that is a board manufacturer.
