Only time will tell. ULBI said that it was going to use the proceeds to expand their rechargeable business. I don't believe that they will be expanding something that doesn't work. In order to get this secondary off the ground they will have to convince prospective investors that their automated production line works and is now ready to mass produce. ULBI has proven that they have the ability to semi-automatically manufacture rechargeable batteries to OEM specs. They have a contract. The company is cash rich, they don't need this amount of money for further R&D. They could do that out of present revenues and from advances from OEMS. They have been doing that all along.

What I like is the fact that ULBI is debt free. Debt kills. The company does not have a large amount of stock outstanding. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this stock is already spoken for. Another good question is, how will the shorts respond to this news. Management holds a large portion of the stock. They are going to do what is best for all the stockholders.

To think that they could make a large expansion of their business without going to either the equity or debt markets would be naive.

Looking at the orderly way that management has implemented and executed the business plan for the development and marketing of this new product, I am impressed.
