I say this opinion - not from a legal point - but a moral one.

Owning worthless shares is like playing musical chairs.

From a legal standpoint, you can sell 'em until you can't sell 'em anymore.

But which moral standpoint is the one where you stick your worthless shares to someone else before they find out it's a scam.

Hey, it's nothing less than I did, but I didn't claim any moral high ground either.

No disrespect intended by pointing this out. I just think Mark's getting an unfair rap here because he doesn't scream "I'll sue you for libel!" like some criminals we know.
