Harry, Re: Your payoff for winning the MSFT price contest. I'd really rather buy the case of micro-brew for you, or donate $100 to the charity of your choice. I always pay off on bets, (and expect to get paid), and I won't become part owner in the Evil Empire at this juncture. I've taken Adam Smith (original) too much to heart. You know, the part where he predicts the main downside of corporations (he called them joint stock companies, I think) will be the owners not taking moral and legal responsibility for what their company is doing.
