David,
I'm a little concerned now that you are a buyer of JBIL (contrarian indicator). I have to admit though I think you are way off base on your assesment of the market. It may be an old bull market, but the rotation of money into the United States will sustain a much larger move (even more so than the last 2 months) to the upside.
I've been buying heavily since last November, eventhough at that time the bears were saying we were in for a correction to 6000. This is a new global economy, and the market is now based on a new set of fundamentals. We are the Japan of the late 70's and 80's. Low interest rates, close to full employment and no inflation. This market has a long way to go.
I bought JBIL at 32 last November as well as SUNW, also at 32. Both have been quite profitable. I think I got my initial tip on JBIL from this board. I'll check your most recent tip as well. One other piece of advice. Stay in for more than 2 points on the upside.

Dave,

I think after experiencing that Oct. Asian crash, we can honestly say that more people than ever before have been through a very bearish experience. Many people who sold during that time, caught the very bottom of the market, and they may not as yet returned.

That's the problem with selling, people tend not to get back in for various reasons, and they miss the upside. Until the fundamentals of the markets change, ie, inflation, deflation, pricing increases, etc., there is no reason to think at this exact period in time there will be a severe market downturn of any lasting duration.

We'll have the normal warnings that will move the markets as we get closer to April reporting. That's a given. I think people are wisely investing in companies that aren't afflicted by the Asian mess, and Jbil is one of them. Enjoy your profits.

I almost forgot, I too bought some more JBIL on Friday.
