James, your portfolio idea could probably be done with MSIE 4.01, but not with Netscape.

Every element of a page is accessible to JavaScript in MSIE 4, so a Javascript program can actually read the content of a page and do things with it, as well as actually change anything on the page right down to individual words or characters.

Netscape 5 is likely to get this, as I think ECMA is going with the MSIE object model.

I gather that the purpose for this page is "sell out my portfolio - fast!" ?
