...check that...clec rev will increase over yrs to 80+%, new media 10% down to 5%, wholesale vary from 5-8%....it is almost as though the proj with clec rev is alot easier a plug in/given based on line installed projection/ pt to multipt leverage/ past history of local/lond dist cust retention of older players like mcld,...I am only thinking out loud, but it seems to me an upside surpise in this evolving patchwork could be new media, and especially wholesale, as everyone scrambles for info, data services, and most important, access to these mkts....evaluating recent inst filings as of 12/97, some very interesting accumulators have emerged with anywher from 70K to to 500k share buys---Am express finan, putnam, invesco funds, robby steph, dean witter, berger funds, value line, USAA inv,...BT has doubled their stake to 725K...biggest insti holder remains pimco with 3.5%... and then there was Robet, who sold his 14 shares for a $126 profit ( remember his slogan, time is money---JOKE---)...

...I am not smart enough to know on a daily or weakly basis where this stock is going...however these "thinking out loud" rambling are my way of searching for the bear/devil's advocate argument, and trying to balance my long term enthusiasm...I just can't seem to do it...to the wise investor, i believe , as Steve g has so eloquently voiced, one should always continue that pursuit, but follow the trend, and ride the wave during that never ending search...

Dub:

My greed=logic is 65.

I think a buyout will prevent us from seeing higher. Reason ? How long can we go on our own ? Does the predicted turnaround in earnings this year include enough funds to keep up the rapid expansion ? For Bill R to predict positive earnings, he must have a cap planned for spending. Or he figures the markets that are not open yet will pay for themselves quickly. I feel a cash squeeze could happen. Then it's borrow more increasing LT debt and/or issuing more shares.

If we have heavy LT debt, an acquiring company would lower it's offer accordingly. One thing that could change this is if after the auctions, WCII sells some of it's licenses for big bucks.

Therefore, greed=logic 65 with greed panting for 80.
