Re: technicaltim.com
I send out email for free to those who request it.
I put ideas on the site that are technically based and
are liquid enough so our business doesn't affect the price.
I look for 300k-500k average volumes, although sometimes
the juicy ideas a less liquid on average, but become attractive
when trading volume starts to surge without any evident news hitting the tape. Volume leads price often enough for me to watch it.
I was the Trading Desk Technical Analyst for 4 years at SG Warburg (what is now SBC WARBURG DILLLON REED) in NYC (now they are in Stamford, CT). So hopefully I bring a touch of experience to the site. I have enough time to update the site once a week now and I'd like to start charging for the service, but I find that the difficulties and time required to turn a website profitable are not worth it just yet.

I'd like your opinion though; What price do you feel is FAIR if you were to receive at least 1 idea/week from technicaltim.com? Do you subscribe to other sites? ie.. barons.com, wsj.com, thestreet.com ?
Do you subscribe to investment newsletters?

My sense is that $1 per idea is a fair price with pre-paid volume discounts. Ex. For $100 prepayment, receive 110 ideas. For $200 prepayment, receive 240 ideas. How does that sound to you?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Best of good fortune to you.
