< Are you using a spread on CPQ?>

Roger. I am not using spreads however I do produce an income monthly from CPQ and a few others. The reason I don't use a spread is because of cost. I predetermine my profit using a covered calls near term (monthly) and strike price. I start by selling puts while keeping the principal representing the puts in the MM account earning interest. If the stock is put to me, as it might with CPQ, then I immediately sell covered calls.

If you're into long term gains, this is not the strategy to employ.
I recognize that spreads will negate some losses, however I prefer to trade the stock if necessary. Cost on trading is less than the spread between the bid/ask price. JMHO Glad to see someone else using these strategies.
