*** 1 stock 1 week *** Long IOM.

I got to play with the syquest sparq the last few days and I decided to go long IOM. It will take a while for this one to die off the face of the planet so its just plain gambling right now. Also syquest is dumping all their eggs into this one so they will do really good the next 6 months but in an year it might be really hard to find any kind of service for them.

Good afternoon Wiseowl,

Iv'e been spending the last few hours cleaning in and around my computer room & desk. I didn't realize how much financial information I had collected the last few months, most of which I threw away.

My wife thinks I'm obsessed with investing, well she's right I am.

Since you seem to concur with my assessment of LGWX, I'd thought I would dig up some of their financial history.

Year Revenues EPS
1994 $13,302,000 $.08
1995 $30,688,000 $.13
1996 $42,540,000 ($.27)
1997 $50,513,000 $.36

Looking back at 1996, it isn't as bad as it seems. The previous management had expanded their sales offices & force too rapidly, along with their marketing expenses, just poor execution.

Greg Peters took immediate steps to correct this problem. He closed down the unproductive offices, I believe all of them overseas, and took the charges right away. Also, they took a 1 million dollar charge when they acquired Test Bites. He then stated LGWX would return to profitability in the first quarter of 1997, he was right on.

Of the $.27 loss in 1996, $.25 was all in the fourth quarter. All in all they have been growing at a consistent rate.

As with any small cap, risk is higher, but so are the rewards. LGWX is loaded with talent, the main ingredient to success.

My sources have a target price of $16- $20 a share in the next 12 months. Even if the market goes south, I still think $14 is attainable, 40% gain would not be too bad for one year.

See ya!
