I dont think the current insiders read this forum, but they are aware of its existence. Do you ask because of pure curiosity or are you wondering of my ability to give you the true sentiments of the company (I wouldnt blame you for the question by the way). I can assure you that I speak with all the intent and understanding of the upper management and speak daily with them. Please remember I am one of the original 5 equal founders of this company and have only recently resigned from the company to better commit myself to my family. I have been traveling for two years helping to muster support for the company. Bottom line is "I know the heartbeat of the company and speak to you with a true understanding of Integrals position on certain issues. It is for this reason that I answer with only public knowledge answers and general statements as Integral management has made the adherence to sec rules paramount in thier campaign for public relations.

To answer your other question,

It is my understanding that we needed no filters and that the distance covered was to put it mildly, uncanny when compared to others. I do have some white papers on the subject and might be able to share information based on that public information, but only after some protective paperwork had been established. Terry, why dont you send me a message personally on this system with your phone # and information so that we may talk directly, as this forum seems an unlikely place. Besides, I hate to type so much!!!

The performance of any given antenna design will depend on the design specifications from the customer. Because performance attributes can be accentuated or diminished by design, it is difficult to make general statements that apply to every antenna.

Tests by the military at a number of frequencies indicate that the CTHA dramatically increases effective range of their radios. Our own tests agree. At VHF frequencies, the improvements range from about 300% to 1000%, depending on the environment. At cellular frequencies, the improvements are generally about 300%.

Usually, customers are interested in solving five problems common to most conventional antennae:
(a) conventional antennae are too big for modern mobile applications
(b) conventional antennae are directional by nature; a mobile device needs a truly omnidirectional antenna to be effective in all physical attitudes
(c) conventional antennae are singularly polarized; urban centers are plagued by changes in signal polarization caused by reflections which render a large fraction of the signal unusable at the receiver
(d) conventional antennae require a ground plane; the human body is not a good ground plane, and neither are boats, airplanes, or many vehicles
(e) the impedance of conventional antennae are strongly affected by proximity to metal; changes in impedance have negative impacts on performance

The reason the mobile radio community is excited about the CTHA antenna is that it solves these problems.
(a) the CTHA is very small; a GPS version of the antenna is about the size of postage stamp 1/16th of an inch thick
(b) the CTHA can be designed to be omnidirectional in all three axes
(c) the CTHA can be designed to be simultaneously multipolarized (vertical, horizontal, circular and elliptical)
(d) the CTHA is ground plane independent; that is, is doesn't need and doesn't use a ground plane; it works as well in a hand-held device as it does on a mast above ground as it does mounted under the hood of your car
(e) the CTHA is relatively unaffected by nearby metal; in fact, the CTHA doesn't "see" some metals at all, so that it can be mounted inside a metal box or under a metal shield or embedded in a metal object - like a car or a plane (something that is unthinkable with conventional antennae)
