John, I understand now, you read Barrons. What did they recomend this week steel, gold or maybe a nice little candlestick maker. P/E's are way overrated as an investment tool IMHO.If you are truly interested in putting a value on DELL try this. 1. Start fire {in fireplace } with your Barrons . 2. Go through this thread & read hypertext that have articles , interveiws & speeches from Michael Dell. 3. Find Thur. issue of WSJ look at 100 largest companies list. GO DELL CSCO INTC LU CHECK OUT THEM P/E's or better yet check out them returns LOL Perry
