Smith Barney is either STUPID or DECEITFUL-take your pick. Bill: Thanks for the SB list. So do you know CPQ is still on the list after the downgrade,if so what is the idea if not to screw the investing public? As for DEC merger being accretive in 98,Eckhard already said so and if he had any doubt I wouldn't think he would have been stupid enough to say it to begin with. But the big pay off will be coming from 1999 onwards and so says Cowen & Co as well,Smith Barney's manipulation not withstanding. The way I look at it SB's analyst is either stupid or they are deceitful, take your pick.
