Cosmo: Good point on Avei. I will do some more research before shorting. Didn't know you were a Doctor. What field are you in?

Cosmo,

I agree whole heartedly with you about AVEI. I've been following them since thier IPO and I would not short them. The coronary stent market is a huge one and the hype alone surrounding FDA approval of their stents will be enough to keep the price propped up. Additionally, I think this company is an excellent take over target down the road. Large pharms like Johnson & Johnson may view acquiring companies such as AVEI as an ideal way of keeping their lead in this market. There's much better shorts out there. Shorting these guys is equivalent to getting in the way of another YHOO or AMZN only AVEI stands to turn a profit much sooner.
