To All Technical Analysts:

Need 2nd Opinion to supplement fundamental analysis:

I am seeking a technical analysis review of Cambridge Technology Partners (CATP). My fundamental analysis and basic understanding of its industry (client server software development consulting) has led me to a strong sell conclusion. For details of my reasoning, refer to CATP thread.

I am familiar with tech analysis only on a superficial level, but have recently become more interested in educating myself on the topic. If anybody could take a look at the chart I would appreciate it.

I am particularly interested in the following observations:

1) huge volume following 1st quarter earnings report
2) low volume last 2 days

Also,

1) what are some of the tools and information sources available to help understand whether distribution or accumulation are taking place in a given security ?

2) how can I tell what percent of volume on Nasdaq stock might be broker to broker transactions, and therefore possibly distorting the true liquidity picture ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rick.
