Mike, have a look at Jim's last post to me...APAT finally has their first Wavelength Division Multiplexer. Looks to be roughly consistent with current in-use technology, though of course nothing close to the 80-channel Metropolitan systems recently announced by CGW and LU (which crashed CIEN for a while). Do you have anyone who might make an assessment of 1. This product And 2. Extensibility to a product competitive with expected LU and CIEN offerings.. APAT is a great little speculation if they can leverage this product, but we need to get a feel whether they are at, behind, or ahead of comparable product offerings.. TSO
