It would seem to me that the most important thing when ORCL announces earnings will be future prospects on the co. If management is upbeat it will rally., If not it will tank. Whether ORCL hits earnings or comes a few cents above, future comments are the key. As soon as they said 25% growth the stock rallied.

My speculation is that ORCL is going to scramble to put this quarter together. They have a lot of exposure to Asia. I am guessing that they some how put it together to show .19 but i'm guessing that revenues are going to be down. I think that Larry E. will not tolerate being embarrassed after his last statement on earnings. If they hit the number and show weaker revenues or hint that things may be slower in the the next quarter...look out you may be a buyer at 19-20. I'm going to be playing the March 25 put.
