I am on record as not being too thrilled with VECO from prior industry experiences early in my career. This bias prevented me from recognizing its other sectors outside of pure IC manufacturing. as a result, I missed an opportunity to ride this stock up from the $20 or below range to some good highs. There is a person on the Stock Swap Thread, Kevin Hansen, who has done a great deal of TA on VECO. Perhaps he can update his TA for us and give you some insight here.

Biases and prejudices blind you to many things which in turn prevent you from moving forward and prospering. This is what happened to me. While I am not invested in VECO, they do provide a good product to some very lucrative non IC related business sectors. they are worth a look but I have yet to give it the mindshare it deserves.

You need to research VECO further since it deserves consideration. It is definitely not a stock I would tell you to forget about and to move on. However, it is not a stock I am as well versed on to make an overwhelming positive investment decision on. I do not have enough data to make an informed decision. If it retraces a little, it will most certainly come back onto my radar screen and it will get the attention it deserves.

Again, Kevin Hansen can give you a better perspective since he may still be following that stock.
