I have a question.

I have been a lurker for quite some time and a follower of MIQ for about a year. I use to be very enthusiastic about the near term future of this stock but not so any more, and here is why.

(these are press release titles taken from Investors Guru page)

September 29, 1997 : New gold discoveries in the Carlin Trend
The next trading day the stock price goes down.

October 8, 1997 : Another new gold discovery at Railroad
The next trading day the stock price goes down.

October 22, 1997 : Second hole at Bunker Hill strikes gold - Copper also discovered

November 24, 1997 : Mirandor - Kinross: Partnership in Carlin Trend
The next trading day the stock price goes down.

November 25, 1997 : Further drilling news from Railroad project
The next trading day the stock price goes down.

And of course the latest release where Kinross and MIQ put the parnership deal in writing.
The stock price didn't go down but is somewhat stagnant at .42.

All press releases were good, the last one being enough to propell any stock, at least in my mind, to the moon.....but nothing.

MIQ has great fundamentals, the above press releases were good to great, and everybody is figuring the next set of drill results are going to be good otherwise Kinross would not have done the JV. At this point in time I figured investors would be crawling all over each other to buy up this stock, I can't believe we are the only ones to know about it's potential future.

O.K. here is my question. After seeing what good to great news has done to the stock price recently. What makes anybody think this stock is going to go up on the next good to great news?

I think everybody sees something here I don't. I'm asking this question because I want to see it too! Obviously there's much about investing in resource stocks I don't understand and I hope someone here can help me out.

any Takers?

Dave-O

P.S. I am probably deeper in this stock than just about anyone (in proportion to the rest of my portfolio)so I'm not bashing MIQ, just trying to understand this stock. I want it to take off like anybody else!
