As far as I'm concerned the truth or falsehood of the story is yet to be determined. Rumors of Compaq stuffing the channel has been around since early Jan. Other articles have been written about it in fact I posted one or two here and was attacked for it. Well now it's 2 months later and CPQ has gone nowhere. Maybe the statements are true. It's not the kiss of death for CPQ you know. By the way I wonder which analysts should be sued SSB or those who have been touting people on to CPQ while the price has done nothing and controversy swirls around it. Did the bulls tout the stock up so they could get out or get short??.
