My favorite stock market joke takes a poke at the
"efficient market" / "everything is priced in" theory:

Two stockbrokers are walking down the street and one sees
a $100 bill on the sidewalk. He says, "Hey, a $100
bill!" and starts to bend down to pick it up. The other
stockbroker says, "Nah, that can't be a $100 bill. If that really was a $100 bill, somebody else would have picked it up already!"

IMO that statement is one of the most assinine you have posted. Its been shown over and over again that the theory of an efficient marketis completely false.

And Larry writes !
This is a "classic" stupid bear attack on a known MU BULL !
The current bid and ask of MU is reality
The current bid and ask of MU is the market
....................................................................
RR...I just would like you to go to the NYSE floor on Monday and say:

I am RR, from the Micron BB and am willing to buy Micron stock at $19, since that is what it is worth
I am RR, from the Micron BB and am willing to buy Micron stock at $19, since that is what it is worth
I am RR, from the Micron BB and am willing to buy Micron stock at $19, since that is what it is worth
I am RR, form the Micron BB and am willing to buy Micron stock at $19, since that is what it is worth

I think that market would laugh at you !
I think that market would laugh at you !
I think that market would laugh at you !
I think that market would laugh at you !

And I ask you ! What is wrong with a 77% long profit in MU ?
A 77% long profit (22 to 39) doesn't sound bad compared to a MAX 100%
profit for a bear, assuming you short MU and it goes to ZERO !

Richard, I don't think the efficient market theory is "completely false". Its probably usually quite efficient; however, there are periods during which either mania or depression set upon the market or where somehow an imbalance sets in to disrupt the fundamentals of the market or leverage one way or the other. It misses inflection points, and times like now.

Dear Richard (or should I say Dick?):

IMO that statement is one of the most assinine you have posted.
..... To suggest that the "market" is somehow an all knowing Poobah that has an understanding of fundamentals makes what little credibility you have on these boards, evaporate. .. more gibberish deleted ...

The crevice from which you crawl out to publicize these views of yours, not too infrequently for my comfort, obviously has imparted you, in addition to a clear inability to communicate in a manner that most civilized adults do , the handicap of suffering from significant amounts of water on the brain, thereby rendering your mental skills several notches inferior to that of the average jellyfish (which might clearly take umbrage at this rather unfair and insulting comparison -G-). Your comments do not deserve a response any more intelligible than what you are getting now. Your evident lack of education takes the backseat only in comparison to your offensive posturing, and I do not see further reason to waste my rather valuable thoughts on someone who has been repeatedly dropped on the head during the all important incipient mental development stage(Big G).

Best Regards,

Sridhar
