Stonehenge. There is an article on the bottom about Intel. Others can stroll right down to that link. Of course margin is a good idea, especially if the market does not go against you. You are making money on borrowed money. I have been almost 100% at all times but I am a little leery now at times. gg. When I do reduce the margin a bit I like to go with a big chunk instead some shares here and some shares there. If I go out with a fairly big block of 1 stock it is easier to get back in fast. About conversion of my Intcw. Don't laugh. The closer I got to the conversion date the more I worried about missing the boat. I told myself: What would happen, God forbid, if my wife and I unexpectedly had a little accident and ended up in the hospital and the warrants would expire worthless? After all, there were only 3 weeks left when I converted. And since I converted all the warrants, it did not really matter when I converted besides having to come up with the extra money. Originally I had thought that I may sell some warrants and then convert. In that case of course you would like to have the warrants go as high as possible and therefore wait to maximize your gain in the warrants so you would not have to sell too many warrants to convert into the stock. This extra money for conversion was really a big factor in selling CPQ. It put me right up to the top of my margin again. But it will not stop me from getting all my CPQ back when I feel like it. BTW, what would you do if you suddenly became incapacitated? Would someone convert your warrants or would they end up worthless? Think about it. Wow. Tomorrow may be a good day to convert if you have no instructions concerning your warrants. gg. I tried to tell my broker to convert my warrants by the 10th unless I would call him earlier. No dice. gg. He told me once I call it in, it would be converted. That made up my mind in a hurry that day. I called back 2 min. later and told him to convert. I could not take the pressure. gg. Ok, now you got more of my thinking than you bargained for. gg. Oh, btw, if this post was not lengthy enough for you, here is an article on Intel.techweb.cmp.com Sonny
