"Zebra : This stock is not about fundamentals."

I agree, we got past that valuation nonsense about 35 points ago. But I see 8 times in the last six months where YHOO has pierced the upper Bollinger band, in the last five cases, that would have been a winner had you gone short there and covered 7-10 trading days later.

So, March 10-12 should be a good time to cover from this latest. Of course anybody who relies on my posts for investment advice will get everything that's coming to him, and less.

By the way, for anyone counting on the "greater fool" theory to keep this up, the last time the overall equity mutual fund surplus cash was this low, was in 1980-81. Yes, I know the big bull started in the Fall of 82, but mutual fund cash had recovered by then. So, where will the buyers come from this time? Asia?

>>compare it with AOL.

TheBigB,

Yeah, let's continue the comparison to AOL a bit.

How long would it take you to delete your cookie file (just
to start fresh), switch your browser's HOME location
somewhere else (other than a yahoo site), and add a few
bookmarks?

--We're talking less than an hour for most anybody here.

Now how long would it take an average AOL user to switch over
to another service, and then get their billing all
straightened out?

--from some of the horror stories I've read in the "Help
Columns" this is more than days, and it could easily be months.

That's one of the reasons why I think YHOO is a better short
than AOL.
